One scale per canton, read from the official text.
Each of the 26 cantons has its own formula: by weight, power, engine size or CO₂, with its discounts and surcharges. The app applies your canton's, read from the law or the official tariff, then compares it with the other 25.
- Cars, motorcycles, boats and trailers

The Swiss used-car market.
The estimate comes from listings on the Swiss used-car market, by year, mileage and engine. It gives a value and a range, then the curve for the next five years.
- An estimate, not an appraisal: the vehicle's real condition matters, and the app can't see it
Public, dated sources.
Fuel: the European Commission's Weekly Oil Bulletin and the TCS average price in Switzerland. Electricity: Eurostat and ElCom. Exchange rates: European Central Bank. Tolls: the tariffs published by each operator.
